Presently, Center Head (& Vice President- Products), Progress Software Hyderabad labs, responsible for leading product development at the Hyderabad Development center, organized in a Centers of Excellence model with each center owning a tech horizontal and working on suite of products in that competency. Responsible for providing strategic guidance to all the product teams, scale the product operations, with specific focus on cross-product considerations and Common Technology for the SOA/RPM and Data integration products.
Started the first team of 20 engineers building a new product from scratch in 2004. After the center was restructured to a Center of Expertise model took over as the Center Head early 2008. Grew operations from 70 to present 300. Built a formidable product engineering group that now owns half of engineering in the company.
