Amit Pande is Director of a new User Experience Studio at Hewlett Packard. Amit's interest lies in starting up and innovating with high velocity, multi-disciplinary product teams of designers, researchers, and developers. Between 2004 and 2010, Amit successfully setup Design & Product UX labs at Yahoo!, Oracle, and PeopleSoft. Over 2010/2011, he was VP of Marketing & Experience at Spire, a Talent Intelligence platform startup. Amit holds an MS from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and a B.E from NIT, Allahabad.
At the NASSCOM Product Conclave, Amit has supported the core organizing & marketing team on various aspects of delegate experience, content, and UX/Design session management. He has in the past organized multiple World Usability Days in Bangalore, design unconferences, and built partnerships for the Amsterdam/India based Doors of Perception conferences.
Amit is a regular visitor at the NID and IIT Design Programs and is a strong advocate of student-led startups and grass roots changes at the university level. He is keen on new rich conversations around innovation, design, entrepreneurship, future-gazing, speculative fiction, and culture.
